Pump Tracks
A pump track is a purpose-built small mountain bike trail that consists of rolling mounds and berms in a loop format designed to be ridden solely by pumping to gain momentum by up and down body movements more than pedaling or pushing. Here is where you can try out your skills around WA.

Some popular Mountain Bike Trails
The Munda Biddi Trail is a fantastic long distance cycle touring trail that traverses a number of scenic and challenging forests and national parks on its route between Perth and Albany. Over 1000km in length, it includes a variety of XC trail types with sections of sealed and unsealed roads in between parks.
Greenmount
The Goat Farm- 12831 Great Eastern Highway, Greenmount 08 9295 0202 Skill level: Beginner to Advanced
It is a totally designated mountain bike park that has been created for all types of skill levels to explore and enjoy.
Kalamunda
Kalamunda Mountain Bike Collective Trails- Pauls Valley Road, Kalamunda Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Kalamunda is utopia for mountain bikers!! From beginners to hardcore trails there is something to please and thrill everyone.
Lake Leschenaultia, Chidlow
Lake Leschenaultia- 2670 Rosedale Rd, Chidlow. Skill level: Beginner to intermediate
Park in the carpark by the lake where you will have two trails to follow up the hill. There you will find another 4 trails for the descent with lots of jumps and ramps on offer to challenge your skills.
Balingup
Linga Longa Bike Park– private park Skill level: Advanced to professional (full-face helmets are mandatory)
This park has some truly challenging trails for you to work on your skills. There is a progression park that allows you to take on varying levels of challenges but the advanced tracks will have your adrenalin pumping. As it is a private park check their open days for riding and racing.
Dwellingup
Murray Valley off Nanga Road, via Lane Pool Reserve. Skill level: Intermediate to advanced- Helmets and pads recommended! The Murray Valley has new trails that have been designed and built where you require varying levels of skills and courage to take them on. From ‘Year 1’ track which is good for a warm up session to the speed induced downhills of Inzamia.
Marrinup
Marrinup Camp ground off Bandicoot Road. Skill level: Beginners to intermediate An easy trail with some entertainment on the side should you wish to take on some logs and mini jumps.
Wellington National Park- Wambenger Trails
Skill level: Easy to Advanced A number of challenging (green, blue & black trails) that are single and dual use trails wind through the stunning jarrah and marri forest with views of the river and dam to get your heart racing.
Pemberton
Pemberton Mountain Bike Park ( Link Pemberton MTB Park – Trails WA ) is located right alongside the Pemberton Caravan Park (Link Pemberton Caravan Park | Accommodation Pemberton ) with the trailhead situated at Pemberton Pool on Swimming Pool. The compact network provides Beginner to Advanced trails, with some 36 kilometres of trail. There is a jump Track, pump Track, Technical Trail, cross country and gravity enduro trail styles. Skill level: Intermediate to Advanced Down the road from RAC Karri Valley Resort is a compact network of trails centred around the Pemberton Pool, which is a lovely swimming spot below the town. The hill is quite steep and so the descent down is fast. Riding with elbow and knee protection is advised. The hill behind it has some more mellow trails like Longshanks and Drop Bear. Location: From the Pemberton Pool at the bottom of the town.
Margaret River
Compartment 10 Wooditjup National Park- Carpark off Carters Road. Skill level: Beginner to intermediate Downhill from RAC Margaret River Nature Park is the first track, Fluid Trail which is great for all levels. There are many tracks to choose from including the option for jumps on Line Manager and a wall ride on Pugsleys Track to name a few.
