The Swan View Tunnel, located in John Forrest National Park was built in 1895 and is the earliest tunnel in WAโs history. The construction of the railway line was a major engineering project managed by C Y OโConnor. An incredible amount of rocks and rubble were moved to construct the embankments, along with intensive blasting, digging, dynamite and horsepower.
